The Villa’s Kitchen Garden

At the heart of the property, the vegetable and fruit garden live in quiet rhythm with the seasons and the Zanzibar sun. Fruit and vegetables grow naturally here, tended with care and respect for the land. What the garden gives finds its way to the Villa’s kitchen, shaping the flavours of the cuisine.

From May to October, the garden is at its most generous, rich in colour and scent. From November to April, during the dry season, its pace softens, yet it continues to offer what the nature allows.

The harvest comes straight from the kitchen garden to the kitchen table, ready to be prepared, in a true field-to-table spirit where freshness is at its height. Throughout the year, we thoughtfully complement our own produce with fruit and vegetables selected locally in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, remaining close to the source and to the seasons.
