From the Villa, the Spice Island reveals itself little by little.
Stone Town, its narrow streets, carved doors, little shops and markets, a living memory recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Offshore, Prison Island shelters the giant tortoises, peaceful silhouettes from another time.
Further north, the ocean opens. Traditional dhows sail towards Mnemba, where dolphins at times offer the privilege of sharing in their play. In the land, the spice farms unfold their fragrances : clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, ginger, pepper and their deep colours.
In Jozani Forest, colobus monkeys appear between mangroves and shifting light. White sand beaches, the life of the bars and restaurants of Nungwi, the kites surf of Jambiani and Paje, all within easy reach of the Villa.
Along the paths, glances meet, smiles are shared and each encounter along the way lend the landscape of Zanzibar a deeper authenticity. Each journey takes shape between sea, villages, landscapes and personal inclinations.
Excursions become a gentle way to encounter the island.
